UI Youth Environmental Action (UI YEA) is an annual conference on environmental issues held by the Student Executive Board of Universitas Indonesia. UI YEA 2018 will be held for ASEAN students.

The 7th UI YEA has opened submission for abstract; meanwhile submission for paper & poster will be announced. Which the grand theme is “How Do Youth Solve Waste Problems to Build Sustainable Cities ASEAN in 2030“. Paper Subtopic:
1) Health cluster
– Long term impact of landfills to the health of community members
– The danger of radioactive waste to the human body
– Impact of water waste to sanitation
2) Technology & Science Cluster
– Technology to handle electronic waste
– Science behind managing solid and liquid/water waste
– Converting waste to energy
3) Social & Humanities Cluster
– “Reduce, reuse, recycle, and recovery” in the society
– Raising awareness of plastic waste danger
– Effects of waste pollution to the economy of the local community

The deadline for abstract submission is on August 24th, 2018.

There will be prizes for the honourable:
– Best Paper
– Best Poster
– Best Presentation
– Best Delegate
Total amount of prize is USD 1000.

Payment Info:
Regular: IDR 75.000/USD 7

Team Eligibility:
1. All members are undergraduate students from universities in ASEAN countries between the ages of 18 and 25
2. One team consists of three students from the same university
3. Both abstract and full paper submisison are to be written in English
